Welcome to the first official blog post of Zwink Designs! I’m so glad you decided to stop by and take a peek at Mike’s latest artwork and current projects. He’s been experimenting with a cross-hatching technique for these pet drawings, inspired by one of his favorite Ukrainian artists, Igor Lukyanov. Today, he’s hitting the drawing board and working on “Tupelo,” a beautiful pit bull/labrador mix. Check back in a few days for the final drawing and the story behind this rescue dog!
The standard size for a pet sketch is 11 x 14. Prices range from $40-$100 and include a simple black format frame. All you have to do is send us a digital photo of your pet! Make sure it is clear, and the animal is in the pose of choice for the drawing. Turn around time is 14-21 days.
